Last December Higher Ground finished this gabion stone retaining wall along the bank of Stringers branch to protect the Mojo Burrito Building located on Dayton Blvd. This month long process started with a footer installed along the toe of the bank. We then brought in 110 tons of stone and fill to protect the bank. The property owner and the employees at Mojo are happy to know that their building will not fall into the creek.
Gabion stone retaining walls are both aesthetic and cost effective for bank retention and as an alternative to standard retaining walls.
